On Friday my friend Rachel came over with her daughter Arianna. Arianna's birthday was on Sunday but since they now live in North Carolina we don't get to see them on a daily basis. So we decided to throw her a birthday party. James and Kylee decorated the living room and made her a cake. I got to supervise and take lots of pictures. The girls stayed up late, just like teenagers and then woke up before the sun. While the girls were enjoying their time together and make a huge mess in the bedroom Rachel and I went to work in Violet's room.
From the time I picked out the nursery bedding set I knew how I wanted the room to look, though all my craft projects never turn out the way I would like. So it is always great to have a crafty girl friend and artsy husband. The circles all over the walls turned out great and actually look like a professional did them. James put the circles on the wall in all different sizes and then Rachel and I started to paint them. I soon realized that I was not very good at it, so Rachel suggested that I paint in the middle of them and she would do the outside of the circles. Which meant she did twice as much work then me. Thanks, I couldn't ask for a better friend.

Hi Heather! First off...congratulations on baby girl #2! I LOVE the name you picked out!
Arianna and Kylee's friendship is so precious! They are so cute! What a blessing!
And you are so fortunate to have the decorating help of my very talented sister! She is definitely helping me decorate when I own my own home! :)
Prayers for you as the birth of your second daughter approaches!
