I have been working on this blog for the past three days. Hopefully you all understand. Below are a few pictures of what has been going on in the Woodruff household over the past two weeks and a few pictures that I thought were just too cute not to post.
Before Christmas Kylee, Violet, and I took a trip down to North Carolina to visit Miss Rachel, Nana, and the kids. I thought it was a good idea to get Violet in the habit of long road trips. We visited for the day. The kids were able to make oranments and play all day. And of course Rachel and I were able to visit. This year we were not able to spend Christmas together because the Conklins were traveling to Georgia for the holidays. I heard they had a blast.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Kylee received more toys than she knows what to do with and of course James and I are always having to tell her to clean up her room. James and I also got a lot of great things and really enjoyed having people over on Christmas day for lunch/dinner. On Christmas day we had some of James family stop by and visit as well as my family all stopped by. It was great to have some many people over and enjoying each others company. I of course thought there was not going to be enough food and then we ended up with tons of leftovers. One day I guess I will learn.
Violet celebrated three weeks the day after Christmas. She is getting so big. Also, last Wednesday I took her to the doctor because she had a very bad stuffy nose but the doctor said she was fine. She also has a heat rash on her face so they said to keep her cool. We go to the doctor this week for her one month check-up, still can't believe that she is already one month old, where does the time go.
New Year's day Kylee got her cars out and we all played in the living room with her new towing station. Great fun, thanks Aunt Wendy. :) And later that day was the big Tech game and my girls had to put on their cheerleader uniforms. They were really excited although all the pictures that actually show that. I took a ton of pictures but either someone wasn't looking, hands were in the way, or they just had a crazy look on their faces. So I just put a couple of pictures so everyone could see the girls. And check out the blanket they are sitting on, my friend Rachel gave that to me for Christmas and as you can see I love it.
Visiting at the Conklins!
