Oklahoma Trip

The week after school got out we went to Oklahoma to visit James' family. It was Kylee and Violet's first plane ride. They both did great. Kylee played games and watched movies, while Violet slept most of the time. James and I took turns taking care of the girls and it all worked out. After the first attempt at leaving didn't go so well. We headed to the airport on Thursday afternoon for our flight and once we made it to the check baggages area were told that our flight was delayed and we would miss our connecting flight to Oklahoma City. So basically we wasted 3 hours going to the airport only to find out that we were going to be taking a 6:00am flight on Friday. Meaning we had to get up at 3 to make sure we got there and checked in on time. Mom and dad were kind enough to take us to the airport again.
Needless to say we finally made it on Friday morning, got checked into the hotel. It was very hot there so we went swimming every day and did lots of activities. (i.e. Zoo, Cowboy Museum, and Science Museum) Also, we spent lots of time with family. Everyone there is so nice and we enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them. That is Kylee, Violet, and me getting to know them for the first time and James just hadn't seen them in at least 10 years. Here are some fun pictures from our trip.
