Just thought these were cute pictures.Violet is already 1 week old. It doesn't seem like only a week and I don't mean that in a bad way. She is so sweet and precious it is hard to remember just one week ago when she wasn't here yet. I know that probably sounds a little crazy but it is true. Kylee is adjusting well and is such a big help.
Kylee and Violet just hanging out watching TV.Today we gave Violet a sponge bath as a family. Everyone pitched in, Dad got Violet ready for the bath, Kylee got her all wet, and Mom washed her down. Violet didn't like it to much but when it was all over she was as happy as could be and she is sleeping very well. I had forgotten how well babies sleep after having a bath until my mom mentioned. So needless to say Violet has been pretty quiet since her bath this evening.
All hands in and helping.Violet I think is adjusting to the world outside of mommy womb pretty well. She does sleep a lot but now she is starting stay awake in 30 t0 60 minute spans. Today she was wide awake to get great pictures of her and of her with Kylee.
We have a busy weekend ahead of us with Santa breakfast in the morning and Abby and Bryan's birthday party tomorrow evening. I am sure it is all going to be a lot of fun but it will be busy. Pictures from this weekend will come soon.
